The brief.
The studio had a strong body of work but no digital home that matched its craft. Their existing site buried projects behind generic galleries, loaded slowly on mobile, and gave no sense of the studio's point of view.
They wanted a site that felt like their films — patient, deliberate, and confident enough to leave space.
The direction.
We built the site around a single idea: work should be encountered, not scrolled past. Each project opens with a full-bleed still, then reveals its credits and story as you move through it.
The typography is set in a single expressive face, used at two extremes — very large for titles, very small for metadata. Everything else gets out of the way.
The outcome.
A six-week engagement covering strategy, art direction, design and front-end build. The site launched with eleven projects, a lightweight CMS the team can update themselves, and a design system that will extend into future print and social work.
The studio now has a digital presence that matches the standard of the work it produces.
