General & studio

VXP Design Studio is an independent creative agency based in Koramangala, Bangalore. We design brand identities, websites, digital products, 3D visuals, motion work and AI-powered experiences for ambitious businesses and forward-thinking teams.

Every service starts under ₹50,000. We've delivered 70+ projects since 2022.

Our studio is in Koramangala, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. We work with clients across India and internationally, both in person and remotely.

For in-person meetings, we welcome visits by appointment. Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at +91 70193 41926.

VXP has been operating as an independent studio since 2022. In that time we've delivered 70+ projects across brand identity, web design, UI/UX, 3D, motion, AI-powered design and custom apparel.

Our working hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00–19:00 IST.

You'll work directly with the people doing the work — not an account manager or a salesperson. One named lead owns your project from the first call to final delivery, and you'll have direct access to them throughout.

For larger projects, the lead will bring in additional team members as needed, but your point of contact stays the same.

02

Services & scope

VXP offers nine core services:

  • Brand Strategy — positioning, audience, competitive landscape, messaging.
  • Branding & Identity — logo, visual identity systems, guidelines.
  • 2D & Graphic Design — posters, campaigns, social creatives, illustration, print.
  • Website Design & Build — responsive sites, landing pages, CMS, front-end development.
  • UI/UX Design — research, wireframes, prototypes, design systems.
  • 3D Design & Visualisation — product renders, spatial visuals, dimensional artwork.
  • Motion & Animation — motion graphics, animated identities, promo films.
  • AI-Powered Design & GEO — Generative Engine Optimization, AI-native systems.
  • Custom Apparel & Merch — apparel graphics, merchandise, uniforms.

Brand strategy defines what a brand stands for — its positioning, audience, value proposition, personality and messaging. It answers the question: what is this brand here to do?

Brand identity is how that strategy is expressed visually — the logo, colour palette, typography, graphic elements and the systems that hold them together. It answers the question: what does this brand look like?

Strategy comes first. Identity is the visual execution of it. We can do either on its own, but they work best together.

Yes. Every service we offer can be commissioned on its own. Many clients start with a single project — a logo, a website, a campaign — and come back for more as their needs grow.

That said, some services naturally work well together. A brand identity is stronger when it's built on a strategy. A website is stronger when it uses an existing identity. We'll always tell you honestly whether your project would benefit from a broader scope, but there's never any pressure to expand.

Absolutely. Our pricing structure — every service under ₹50,000 — was designed specifically to make considered design accessible to founders, small teams and growing businesses.

Roughly half our work is with early-stage companies. We're comfortable working with founders who are figuring out their brand for the first time, and we'll guide you through decisions you haven't had to make before.

Yes, we do white-label and partnership work with agencies and studios who need additional design capacity or a specialist discipline (3D, motion, AI + GEO, for example).

Terms are discussed case by case. Reach out at [email protected] with your requirements.

03

Pricing & payment

Every service starts under ₹50,000. Here's the published starting price for each:

  • 2D & Graphic Design — from ₹18,000
  • Custom Apparel & Merch — from ₹20,000
  • 3D Design & Visualisation — from ₹25,000
  • Motion & Animation — from ₹30,000
  • Brand Strategy — from ₹35,000
  • AI-Powered Design & GEO — from ₹38,000
  • Branding & Identity — from ₹42,000
  • Website Design & Build — from ₹45,000
  • UI/UX Design — from ₹48,000

Final pricing depends on scope, deliverables, revisions and timeline. We always confirm a fixed-fee range before work begins.

We believe considered design shouldn't be reserved for the biggest budgets. We work in small, focused teams and keep overheads low, which lets us offer the same quality of craft that larger agencies charge far more for.

₹50,000 is the maximum starting price across every service — not the maximum total. A comprehensive brand identity or a complex website might run higher once scope is factored in, but you'll always know the range before we begin.

Starting prices reflect the minimum scope we'll take on for that service. They cover a defined set of deliverables, a set number of revisions, and a standard timeline.

Final pricing varies based on:

  • Number of deliverables — more assets, more pages, more formats.
  • Complexity — a single logo vs. a full identity system, for example.
  • Revisions — beyond the two rounds included, additional rounds are quoted separately.
  • Timeline — rush projects may carry a premium.
  • Bundling — combining services is often more economical than buying them separately.

We always quote a fixed-fee range before starting, so there are no surprises.

Yes. The standard split is 50% upfront and 50% on delivery, though for longer engagements we may adjust this to milestone-based payments.

Full terms are confirmed in the project agreement before work begins. We don't start any work without a signed agreement and the initial deposit.

The upfront deposit covers time already committed to your project, so it's non-refundable once work begins. The final payment is due on delivery and is only required once you've approved the work.

If a project is cancelled mid-way, we'll invoice for work completed up to that point and return any unused portion of the deposit. Full terms are in the project agreement.

04

Process & timelines

Start with an email or the contact form on our website describing your goals, deliverables, timeline and any references. If you have existing brand assets, include those too.

We'll review the brief and follow up within 24 hours on working days with next steps, clarifying questions and a fixed-fee range. If it looks like a fit, we set up a short call to align on scope before any work begins.

Every project follows four stages:

  • Discover — we learn your goals, audience, constraints and what success looks like.
  • Define — we establish the visual and functional direction before detailed design.
  • Design — we build, test and refine the chosen direction with care for every detail.
  • Deliver — we prepare final files, assets and documentation for launch and ongoing use.

Each stage has a clear output, so you always know where the project stands.

Timelines vary by service and scope, but here's a rough guide:

  • Graphic design, apparel — 2–3 weeks
  • 3D, motion — 3–4 weeks
  • UI/UX, brand strategy — 4–6 weeks
  • Brand identity — 5–8 weeks
  • Website design & build — 4–8 weeks

Timelines depend on feedback speed and revision rounds. We confirm a specific timeline before kickoff.

Most services include two rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. This is usually enough, because we align on direction before detailed design begins — so by the time you see the first round, we're already close to the target.

Additional rounds, or changes that expand the scope, are quoted separately. We'll always flag it before doing the work so there are no surprise costs.

It happens, and it's fine. We align on direction early — usually with mood boards or a short written direction — so you know the visual territory before detailed design begins. This reduces the chance of a misfire.

If the first direction isn't right, the second revision round is the opportunity to course-correct. If we're still off, we'll have a call to understand what's not working and reset before continuing.

AI vs VXP

AI can generate an image in seconds. What it can't do is run a brand strategy, understand your business context, hold a conversation about your audience, or take responsibility for whether the work actually performs in the market.

Design is only partly about making things. The harder part is deciding what to make, why, for whom, and how it fits into a system that scales. That's judgment, and judgment is what you hire a studio for.

We use AI in our own workflow — for exploration, for speed, for iteration. But it's a tool. The thinking, the taste and the accountability come from people.

You can — for mood boards, quick ideas, or personal projects where you're not relying on the output commercially.

But for a real brand, AI image generators have three problems:

  • IP ownership: outputs from most AI tools sit in a legal grey zone. You may not be able to register or enforce a trademark on them.
  • Precision: you can't tell AI "make this logo slightly bolder, adjust the letter-spacing, add the version with the accent" and get a consistent, repeatable result. Real brand work needs to be precise and reproducible.
  • Systems: a logo isn't a logo — it's a system that has to work at 16px and on a billboard, in one colour and full colour, animated and static. AI doesn't build systems. Designers do.

The clearest way to explain it is with a comparison. Here's how the two approaches differ across the things that actually matter to a business:

Yes. We use AI in three specific ways:

  • AI-assisted exploration during concepting — generating a wide range of directions quickly so we can find the interesting ones faster.
  • AI workflow automation during production — automating repetitive tasks like resizing, format exports and asset generation.
  • Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — helping client brands get cited inside AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

What we don't do is let AI make final creative decisions. Every output that leaves the studio has been designed, refined and approved by a human.

On the surface, yes — an AI subscription costs a few hundred rupees a month. But the total cost is different once you factor in what you don't get:

  • Strategy: you still have to figure out what the brand should stand for.
  • Judgment: you still have to decide whether the output is good, and why.
  • Production: you still have to turn it into files that work across every format and platform.
  • Liability: if the trademark filing gets rejected or a competitor claims ownership, there's no one to hold accountable.

For quick personal projects, AI is a great deal. For a business' brand identity, the cost of getting it wrong is much higher than the cost of hiring someone who does it right.

AI is already replacing some parts of design — the repetitive production work, the first-draft exploration, the bulk resizing. That's real, and it's changing how studios operate.

What it's not replacing is judgment, taste, strategy and accountability. Those are the parts clients are actually paying for. As AI tools get better, the value of a designer shifts further toward deciding what to make, not just making it.

Our own approach reflects this: we use AI where it makes us faster, and we invest more of our time in the parts it can't do.

06

Working together

Most projects run through email and scheduled calls. For larger engagements, we set up a shared project space where you can see progress, feedback and files in one place.

For quick questions, WhatsApp is fastest. Your lead will tell you the best way to reach them at the start of the project.

Yes. We collaborate remotely with teams across India and internationally. Time zones are discussed at the start so we can align on call times and feedback windows.

For clients in Bangalore, in-person meetings are available by appointment.

To start well, we need:

  • A clear brief — what you're trying to achieve, and why now.
  • Audience context — who the work is for.
  • Existing assets — any brand materials, references or previous work.
  • Timeline — when you need it, and any hard deadlines.
  • Budget range — so we can propose the right scope.
  • A single point of contact — one person on your side who can consolidate feedback.

If you don't have all of this yet, that's fine. We can help you work through it.

Yes. If you need to pause or cancel, we'll invoice for work completed up to that point and return any unused portion of the deposit.

If you'd like to pause and resume later, we can usually hold the project for a defined period. Just let us know as early as possible.

07

Deliverables & files

You receive the working files, all required exports, and documentation. Specifics depend on the service, but typically:

  • Brand identity: master logo files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG), all colourways, brand guidelines document, typography files.
  • Websites: full source code, CMS access, hosting instructions, documentation.
  • Graphic design: print-ready artwork (PDF with bleed, CMYK), web exports (PNG, JPG, SVG), editable source files.
  • 3D/motion: high-resolution renders, video files in multiple aspect ratios, project files on request.
  • Apparel: print-ready artwork for screen, DTG and embroidery.

You're never just handed a flattened image.

Yes. You receive all working files — the editable design files, project files and source code where relevant. This is part of what you're paying for, and it means you're never locked into working with us forever.

For 3D projects, source files are provided on request (they can be large).

Once the project is fully paid for, you own the final design work and all associated intellectual property rights. This is confirmed in writing in the project agreement.

We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio and on our website unless you specifically request otherwise in writing. If confidentiality matters to you, just say so at the start of the project.

Yes. For websites, we offer post-launch support — bug fixes, small updates and technical maintenance — usually on a monthly retainer or per-request basis.

For brands, we offer design retainers for ongoing work: campaign assets, social creatives, brand extensions, new product launches. Terms are discussed at the end of the initial engagement.

08

Technical & platforms

We build custom front-ends rather than relying on page builders or templates. Depending on the project, we use a mix of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, modern frameworks (Next.js, Astro) and headless CMS platforms (Sanity, Contentful, or a lightweight custom CMS).

The right choice depends on your content needs, update frequency and technical team. We'll recommend the best fit for your situation — not the one we prefer for our own convenience.

Yes. Every site we build is responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop, and designed with accessibility in mind — semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, sufficient colour contrast, ARIA labels where needed.

We also test for performance. Sites typically load in under 2 seconds on a standard connection.

Yes. Every site includes a CMS so you can update text, images, project entries and other content without touching code. We provide a walkthrough and documentation at handoff.

For structural changes — new page templates, new features — we can either guide you through it or handle it on a per-request basis.

Every site is built with technical SEO in mind: semantic markup, proper heading hierarchy, meta tags, structured data, fast load times, mobile optimisation and clean URLs.

For ongoing SEO strategy — content, keyword research, link building — we can either advise or bring in a specialist partner, depending on your needs.

09

Legal, privacy & data

We comply with India's DPDP Act 2023, the EU GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA. We collect only the personal data we need to respond to your enquiry or deliver your project, and we never sell it.

Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Yes. Every project has a written agreement that covers scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, payment terms, intellectual property, confidentiality and revision policy.

We don't start work without it — both to protect you and to make sure expectations are clear on both sides.

Yes. We're happy to sign an NDA before discussing your project. Just mention it in your first email and we'll arrange it before any details are shared.

For most projects, the standard mutual confidentiality clause in our agreement is sufficient, but we're flexible.

We align on direction before detailed design begins, so serious disagreements are rare. If something isn't working, we'll have a call to understand the gap and reset before continuing.

If we can't resolve it and you'd like to end the engagement, our agreement includes clear terms for that — you pay for work completed, we hand over what's been made, and we part on good terms.

Yes. VXP Design Studio is a registered business operating from Bangalore, India. Full business details, GST registration and insurance information are available on request during the contracting stage.

010 / The honest comparison

AI alone vs
VXP Design Studio.

You've probably wondered: "why not just use AI?" It's a fair question, and it deserves an honest answer. Here's how the two approaches compare across the things that actually matter when you're building a brand or a product.

With AI alone

Tools only

With VXP Design Studio

Judgment + tools

01 / Strategy

No strategy. Just output.

AI can generate any image you describe. But it can't tell you whether that image is the right one for your audience, your market or your positioning. It has no business context — only prompts.

Strategy before visuals.

We start by understanding your goals, audience and competitive landscape. Every design decision is anchored to a reason, not a prompt. The strategy is what makes the work hold up six months later.

02 / Uniqueness

Statistically average.

AI produces outputs by predicting the most likely result from billions of training images. That's the literal definition of average. Your brand ends up looking like a remix of everything that already exists.

Designed to be distinctive.

We look for the idea that could only belong to you. Distinctiveness is a strategic asset — it's what makes your brand recognisable at a glance, and it's not something AI is designed to produce.

03 / Precision

Difficult to control.

You can't ask AI to "adjust the letter-spacing by 2% and try it with a slightly different swash." Every iteration is a fresh roll of the dice. Getting a consistent, repeatable result is close to impossible.

Exact and repeatable.

Every version is deliberate — the same logo, the same colours, the same spacing, every time, across every format. We control the details because the details are what make work feel professional.

04 / Systems

One-off images.

AI generates flat images. It doesn't build systems — it can't tell you how your logo behaves at 16px versus a billboard, in one colour versus full colour, animated versus static.

Systems that scale.

A brand is a system, not a logo. We design for every touchpoint — from favicon to packaging, from social to signage — and document it so your team can apply it consistently forever.

05 / IP & ownership

Legal grey zone.

Most AI tools place their outputs in a legal grey area. You may not be able to register or enforce a trademark. If a competitor uses similar outputs, you have no clear claim.

Clean IP, fully transferred.

Once paid for, you own the work and all associated IP rights. The agreement is in writing, and the ownership is enforceable. This matters enormously if you ever need to defend your brand.

06 / Production files

Flat images only.

You get a JPG or PNG. No vector files, no source files, no print-ready artwork, no editable layers. Scaling it up, editing it, adapting it — all become problems.

Everything you need.

You get working files, all required exports, print-ready artwork, web-optimised files, documentation and — where relevant — brand guidelines. You're never just handed a picture.

07 / Accountability

No one to hold responsible.

If the work doesn't perform, there's no one to talk to. No process, no revisions, no relationship. You're on your own with a tool.

A team behind the work.

You have a named lead, a clear process, and a team accountable for the outcome. If something isn't right, we fix it. If a project needs more work, we do it. That relationship is part of what you're paying for.

08 / Taste

No judgment of quality.

AI has no opinion about whether the output is good. It just produces. You're the one who has to decide if it's right — and that requires a trained eye you may not have.

Taste is the whole point.

Design is fundamentally a series of judgment calls: what to include, what to leave out, what to emphasise, what to ignore. That judgment — taste — is the skill you're hiring. It's the difference between "looks fine" and "feels right."

AI is a tool. A powerful one — we use it every day. But design is not the tool. Design is the judgment about what to make, why, for whom, and how it holds together. That's what VXP brings to the table.
